FAQ

What we sell

What is TROPEZ?

A catalogue of research compounds supplied to laboratories, with a certificate of analysis for every lot. Seven Enterprises LLC trades as TROPEZ.

What does “research use only” mean here?

Products sold by TROPEZ are supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, medicines, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics or medical devices; they are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use in humans or animals; and they are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic or any other clinical purpose, or for administration to any human or animal by any route.

It is not a formality. We do not supply dosing guidance, administration instructions, or protocols of any kind, and we cannot advise on use in humans or animals. If that is what you need, we are not the right supplier.

Who can buy?

Accounts are opened for research organisations, laboratories and qualified professionals. You will be asked for your business type when you register, and orders ship to a business address.

Do you provide dosing, reconstitution or administration instructions?

No. Nothing ships with instructions for use, and we do not provide them by email, phone or chat either. Product listings state chemical and analytical specification only: identity, quantity, purity, form, solubility and storage.

Questions about use in humans or animals are outside what we can answer, and we will say so rather than guess.

Can you recommend a compound, or tell me what to combine?

No. A recommendation for a purpose is a claim about use, and we do not make them. What we can offer is the specification on each listing and, for members, the analytical library: published research about these compounds, reported as the investigators reported it, with citations.

Do I need a prescription or a licence?

No prescription: these are not medicines, so there is nothing to prescribe. Sale is conditional on your attestation under Section 3 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale that the material is for laboratory research and that you are qualified to handle it.

Which size should I choose?

Sizes state the nominal mass of material in the vial, for example 10 mg. Choose by the quantity your work requires. Where a compound is offered in more than one size, the larger vial contains more material in the same format.

Where does the material come from?

Synthetic peptides from vetted United States suppliers, tested lot by lot by an independent laboratory before we list them. The certificate for your lot names the laboratory and the methods. We do not sell material we cannot document.

Certificates and testing

Does every product have a certificate of analysis?

Yes, and it is specific to the lot you receive rather than to the product in general. The lot number on your vial matches the lot number on the certificate.

Who performs the testing?

An independent third-party laboratory. The certificate carries that laboratory’s own identification, the analyst’s signature and the methods used. We do not issue our own purity figures.

How do I read a certificate?

The short version: identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry, purity is measured by reversed-phase HPLC, and the chromatogram shows you the separation those numbers came from. A single large peak with a small set of minor ones is what a clean preparation looks like.

The analytical library covers this properly — what each method measures, what a chromatogram does not tell you, and where water content and residual solvents fit in.

How long does material keep?

Each certificate states an expiry or retest date for its lot, and the storage conditions that date assumes. Lyophilised material kept as stated is stable for the period shown; we do not extend dates ourselves.

Membership

What does a membership include?

Fifteen percent off every reference in the catalogue, applied on top of volume pricing with no minimum and no exclusions; free next-day delivery on every member order; and access to the analytical library.

What does it cost, and how long does it last?

$79 a month, or $799 a year. There is no fixed end date — a membership continues, and renews automatically at the same price and interval, until you cancel it.

When am I charged?

On the day you join, and on the same date each month or each year after that. Before each annual renewal we email you a reminder 15 to 45 days ahead.

How do I cancel?

From your account page at any time, in a single step and without having to speak to anyone. You can also cancel by emailing info@tropezpeptides.com.

Cancelling stops all future charges. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: member pricing, delivery and library access continue until then. The current period is not refunded.

Does cancelling affect orders I have already placed?

No. Orders already placed ship as normal at the price you paid.

Pricing and payment

How do I pay?

By card at checkout. We do not take payment by bank-transfer or payment apps, by invoice, or over the phone, and we will never ask you to send money to an account or handle.

Do you offer discount codes?

No. Pricing is structural rather than promotional: three vials of one reference are 15% off, six are 25% off, and members take a further 15% off everything. All of it is applied automatically in the cart, so there is no code to enter and nothing to expire.

A pack price did not apply. Why?

Pack pricing applies per reference: three or more vials of the same catalogue number, or six or more. Three different compounds at one vial each do not form a pack. Member pricing applies once you are signed in to a member account, or when a membership is in the same order.

Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card, or through insurance?

No. Research materials are not medical products or services, so HSA and FSA cards cannot be used and nothing here is claimable through insurance.

Why are your prices higher than some other sellers?

Because every lot is tested by an independent laboratory before it is listed, the certificate for your specific lot ships with your order, and we record which lot went to whom so a problem with one lot can be traced to every order that received it. Undocumented material is cheaper. It is also not what we sell.

Orders and delivery

Where do you ship?

Within the United States only. We do not ship internationally.

How quickly do orders go out, and when do they arrive?

Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. Pacific, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff, at a weekend or on a federal holiday go out the next business day. You receive a dispatch email with the carrier and a tracking link as soon as the label is generated.

Standard delivery arrives 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, with USPS, UPS or FedEx. Member orders are delivered the next business day where the carrier offers that commitment; some remote addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and PO boxes cannot be served next day.

What does shipping cost?

$9.99 per order, and free on orders of $500 or more. Members pay nothing for delivery; next-day service is included in the membership.

What is in the box?

The sealed vial or vials you ordered, each marked with its lot number, and the certificate of analysis for that lot. The same certificate is linked from your order confirmation and kept in your account for two years. Nothing else is included: no solvents, no consumables and no instructions, because we supply reference material, not a kit.

I entered the wrong address. Can I change it?

Email info@tropezpeptides.com with your order number and the correct address as soon as you notice. Before dispatch we hold the order until the address is confirmed rather than send it somewhere it will fail. After dispatch, changes depend on the carrier and are not always possible; we will tell you what can be done.

My order is late. What should I do?

Check the tracking link in your dispatch email first; tracking can take several hours to begin updating. If the parcel is outside its delivery window or tracking has stopped moving, email info@tropezpeptides.com with the order number and we will open a trace with the carrier and keep you informed.

How should material be stored on arrival?

Storage conditions are printed on each certificate of analysis, because they differ by compound. Lyophilised material is generally shipped at ambient temperature and is stable in transit.

Returns and refunds

Can I return an order?

If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not match its certificate of analysis, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund it in full, including return shipping.

Beyond that, sealed vials cannot be returned once they have left our custody. Chain of custody is the thing a certificate documents, and material we cannot account for continuously is material we will not put back into stock.

What if a lot does not match its certificate?

Email info@tropezpeptides.com with the lot number. That is a problem with our supply chain rather than with your order, and we want to know about it.

How do I get in touch?

info@tropezpeptides.com reaches us for every kind of enquiry — orders, certificates, membership and cancellations.
